“Infuse your life with action. Don’t wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love. And whatever your beliefs, honor your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen… yourself, right now, right down here on Earth.”
-Bradley Whitford

Taking control of your own life is vital for overall success and personal growth. In today’s day and age, it is very common for others to influence our decisions or us to be influenced by what others will think. This is something that needs to change. If you live your life in someone else’s shadow, you will never live a fulfilled life. It will be tough to grow and tough to learn. Being independent and taking action in your life is extremely important to living a powerful life. Never be afraid to speak up. Positive THINKING is something that is important to do, but following up with positive ACTIONS will ultimately get you the results you want. Sadness or the blues after a divorce, breakup or separation is a perfect example of this. Sadness and the blues can be hard to deal with. It can make you lethargic, antisocial, sick, etc. You may perk up once in a while and positively think, “Oh, it’ll get better. It wasn’t meant to be.” But a few hours later, you are back to being upset. This is okay, this is a part of grieving. But THINKING positively and taking positive ACTION will lead to a more successful end result. Physically getting out of the house, blocking the ex on social media and cleaning out triggering belongings are just some of the many actions that can be taken to reduce feelings of sadness and will help you cope by taking action. Taking positive actions in your life can be simple but a lot of times it can be tough to start. Remember, All you have to do is take the first step and the rest will follow.
